Polish countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński, hailed by critics and audiences alike, is quickly gaining a reputation as a singer of striking vocal beauty and daring stagecraft. For this vocal recital, award-winning Polish collaborative pianist Michał Biel will be joining Jakub Józef Orliński.

Program: A Lieder program featuring works by Purcell, Handel, Karłowicz, H. Czyż, S. Moniuszko, and J. J. Fux.

Outreach: Jakub Józef Orliński and Michał Biel will present a master class with Portland State University’s vocal and piano students on Friday, March 18 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm in Lincoln Recital Hall (1620 SW Park Ave, Portland). Free and open to the public.
