Oregon Mozart Players: French Connection
February 13, 2021 @ 7:30 pm

Join us for French Connections featuring First Prize and Best Concerto Prize winner of the 2020 10th National Chopin Piano Competition, Avery Gagliano, piano in HD audio and video from the comfort and safety of your home!
“A delightful excursion into repertoire connected to France opens with a charming arrangement of some of Rameau’s solo harpsichord works followed by a set of variations written by Alexandre Tansman in the spirit of Stravinsky’s Pulcinella. To close the program, newcomer Avery Gagliano brings to life the first of Mozart’s so-called great concertos, written for a pianist known by her French nickname, Babette.”
– Kelly Kuo, Artistic Director & Conductor
